  • Dr. Jacob Allee

    FELLOW OF CLASSICAL HUMANITIES

    Dr. Jacob Allee is presently serving as a teacher and Upper School Dean at Caritas Classical Christian Academy in Chandler, AZ. He has been formally working in classical Christian education since 2014 but he and his wife homeschooled classically for several years before that. Dr. Allee is also the founder of Study The Great Books which is committed to producing classical Christian curriculum that is faithful to the Lordship of Jesus Christ for use in classrooms and homes across the country. He is happily married and he and his wife, Susan, enjoy raising their four wonderful children. He earned his Ph.D. in Humanities from Faulkner University. His academic research focuses upon the role stories play in developing the moral imagination and the power stories have to pass on and preserve virtue within a society.

  • Dr. David Seibel

    FELLOW OF SCHOOL LEADERSHIP

    As Head of School at Coram Deo Academy, David Seibel aims to cultivate a generation of scholar-disciples who are passionate about learning. Husband to Brooke and father of two current and an additional two future Coram Deo Academy students, David holds a Doctorate of Education from Southern Seminary, an M.Div. from Southern Seminary, an M.Ed. from Marian University, and B.A. in Economics and Spanish from Wabash College. Dr. Seibel’s dissertation focused on the leadership contributions to school growth using the organizational theory of Ichak Adizes, describing how schools mature over time. His family attends Cornerstone Bible Church in Carmel, Indiana. Dr. Seibel also serves as the Director of School Growth Initiatives for the ACCS. He is the author of Growing A Classical School: How Unified Leadership and Teamwork Create Sustained Growth.

  • Dr. Joshua Herring

    FELLOW OF PEDAGOGY & CLASSICAL HUMANITIES

    Josh Herring, Ph.D. received a doctorate in the Humanities with a concentration in Literature from Faulkner University in 2023. He also holds a M.Div. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (2016) and a B.A. in History from HIllsdale College (2011). He taught humanities courses at Thales Academy for eight years and was active in Thales Academy administration for three years as a Dean of Students, Assistant Administrator, and Dean of Classical Education. He enjoys helping Thales College develop a new model of higher education, specifically with attention to shaping future teachers intending to join the classical renewal movement. He and his wife live in Wendell, NC. Dr. Herring is a voracious reader, a regular writer with the Acton Institute, Liberty Fund, and the Federalist. He also hosts The Optimistic Curmudgeon podcast.

  • Dr. Kyle Hughes

    FELLOW OF PEDAGOGY & CHURCH HISTORY

    Dr. Kyle R. Hughes (PhD, Radboud University Nijmegen) is a scholar-pastor-teacher specializing in the study of early Christianity and working to mine the riches of patristic theology for the modern church and for Christian schools. He serves as the Lower School Principal at the Stonehaven School, a classical Christian school in Marietta, Georgia, where he also teaches Church History in the Upper School. He is the author of several books including Teaching for Spiritual Formation (Cascade, 2022). In addition, Dr. Hughes has published numerous academic and popular articles related to New Testament, patristics, and Christian education. He and his wife Karisa, and their three children live in Powder Springs, Georgia. Dr. Hughes is an ordained deacon in the Reformed Episcopal Church (ACNA) and is the Director of Catechesis at Christ the King Anglican Church. Follow him on Twitter here.

  • Dr. Nathan Gill

    FELLOW OF CULTURE

    Nathan Gill, PhD, earned his doctorate from Hillsdale College in 2018, and serves as the Academic Dean and high school history teacher at Chapel Field Christian schools in the Hudson Valley region of New York state. He is a writer as well as a teacher and is fascinated by the history of Protestantism’s engagement with the liberal arts tradition, particularly in New England, the early American republic and the wider Anglo-American world. He loves the scenery, culture and history of the Northeast, and seeks to renew the classical tradition that has long lain dormant there. His work has appeared at Public Discourse, American Reformer, and in various academic publications. He and his wife Madeline have three children.

  • Dr. David Stanton

    FELLOW OF SCHOOL LEADERSHIP

    Dr. David J. Stanton IV serves as the Headmaster at Oakdale Academy, a classical Christian school in the Metro Detroit region with an aim to prepare students for a life of service to God, family, community, and country. David is married to his wonderful wife Jodie and is blessed with six children. David earned his doctorate (Ed.D.) and education specialist (Ed.S.) from Liberty University, along with a master’s from Central Michigan, and his bachelor’s from Hillsdale College. He has also studied at both the Naval War College and Joint Forces Staff College during a two-decade career in the Navy Reserve which included command positions and deployments to Afghanistan and Bahrain. David hosts the podcast Classical Dialogues and a Substack series entitled The Classical Patriot. David is the founder of Firmum Consulting and Publishing, LLC where he mentors and guides school leaders and boards.

  • Mandi Gerth

    FELLOW OF CLASSICAL HUMANITIES

    Mandi Gerth is a teacher and classical education consultant who lives in Dallas, Texas. She holds a master of humanities degree from the University of Dallas with a concentration in classical education. Her work has appeared in The Classical Difference magazine and on the CiRCE Institute and Theopolis blogs. She attends Church of the Holy Communion (REC) in Dallas, Texas. For over twenty years, she and her husband have labored to build a family culture for their five children that values books, baseball, museums, home-cooked meals, and conversation about ideas.   • Rev. David Deutsch

    FELLOW OF THEOLOGY & CULTURE

    Rev. David Deutsch serves as the Head of Spiritual Life at Beacon Hill Classical Academy, where he also teaches Bible, Theology, and Oral Rhetoric. In addition to his role at Beacon Hill, Rev. Deutsch serves as a Teaching Pastor at Soli Deo Gloria Church in Camarillo, CA. He has spent over 25 years in pastoral ministry. He is a lover of books and helped homeschool his daughter classically. As a life-long learner, Rev. Deutsch loves to come alongside of students in their pilgrimage with Christ and Classical Education. He is married to his wife, Teresa, who serves as the Lower School Academic Director and Kindergarten Teacher at Beacon Hill Classical Academy. They have one daughter (who teaches Latin and Humanities at Beacon Hill) and two grandchildren.

  • Brian Tromburg

    FELLOW OF CULTURE & SCHOOL LEADERSHIP

    Brian Tromburg is an instructor at The Ambrose School where he has been blessed to instruct 23 students a year for almost a decade. He has served the school in various ways such as Greek I & II, 4th grade, and 6th grade, as well as in athletic capacities like coaching cross country, mountain biking, and assistant athletic director. He understands the need for generations to be trained up in the paideia of the Lord as it is a command from the Lord Jesus himself, and he is constantly encouraged to partner with like-minded parents and colleagues to accomplish this weighty task. He grew up in Boise, Idaho where he now lives and attends The King's Congregation (CREC) with his wife, Natalie, and three children.
